Sephora Formula X: Magma
Orange shimmer

There’s a number of reasons for a polish to stay in the box of untrieds for a
longer period of time. The reason Magma has stayed there for many years is that
it’s sheer. And I am not a fan of sheer polishes.

I didn’t want to risk to have to apply too many coats of polish today, so I
decided to layer “Magma” over a plain orange polish, namely H&M’s “Lifejacket”.

So I used one coat of “Lifejacket”, and over that one coat of “Magma”.

Then I painted half the nail red with Essie’s “In A Gingersnap”. I made a white
stripe down the middle of the nail and on top of that a stripe of Moyra’s
glitter topper “Elise”.

This is the final result:

I really like this.

I love the shimmer in this, but I am not a fan of the sheerness. I will
probably keep this for layering but I definitely wouldn’t buy it again.
